Job Description

Our client offers treatment for private patients, funded by health insurance, those choosing to pay for themselves and NHS patients under the government\'s Free Choice system. The hospitals provide a wide range of services, from diagnostic and routine investigations, to more complex surgery. Our client\'s commitment is to clinical excellence, patient safety and infection control. Working hours: Full-time 37.5 hours per week (over 7 days on a variable rotating shift pattern) working both day and evening shifts and the department is open on a Saturday and Sunday. Location: Our client is situated within easy access of the M1 and M25 motorways. The hospital is located approximately five miles from Watford town centre, 15 miles from London. Our client is looking for a full time RGN to join our busy Outpatient team. Our client are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with at least 1 year\'s surgical experience to work within the Outpatient department providing high standards of effective clinical care for a wide range of disciplines. You will monitor and maintain a safe, clean and therapeutic environment for patients, staff and visitors. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and delivering effective clinical care. You will be an excellent communicator and passionate about providing first class customer service. You will work within a clinical team and be confident when dealing with consultants, able to resolve problems and stride to improve customer care. Skills required include: You must have at least 1 years post registration experience with surgical experience and proof of continuous professional development. Must demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills. Flexibility as shifts are covering 6 days on a rota basis. Competencies required: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to develop good working relationships.
